Carmen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in 2006. She has 13 years of experience working and studying the field of pharmacy in different places throughout around the country that include Colorado, Iowa, Montana, Oregon and Massachusetts.
Carmen is currently in her third year of Pharmacy School at Creighton University where she ranks in the top 20% of her class. Carmen is President-Elect of Creighton's AMCP, one of two student members of Creighton's Pharmacy Admission Committee, an honorary member of Rho Chi, Phi Lambda Sigma, SSHP, APhA-ASP, and ACCP.
She is also very involved in her local community where she has recently partnered with Worcester Parks and Recreation and plans to teach elementary and middle school children about healthy living.
In addition to increasing health literacy in underserved populations, Carmen's passions lie in health and nutrition. She will discuss the importance of healthy living as it relates to coaching and overseeing athletes.
